Specialist Doctors

At the Veterinary Specialty Center of the Hudson Valley (VSCHV), all our staff veterinarians are Board Certified, ensuring the best care for your pet. These veterinarians are Diplomates of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons, the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine and the American College of Veterinary Radiology.  This means that following the four years of veterinary training and attainment of a degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, the VSCHV staff veterinarians have been through an additional 4-6 years of intensive, post graduate, specialized training at an accredited institution. In addition to the accredited training, the demonstration of meaningful contributions to veterinary science with publications, research and presentations is required to be Board Certified along with satisfactory completion of a comprehensive three-part examination.

Staff Doctors

At VSCHV, we have veterinarians on staff 24 hours a day when needed. These staff doctors work with our board certified specialists who are on call every hour of every day.
